As usual at the end of the month, I have been busy last night preparing a monthly update of IPMS Stockholm Magazine. Despite this task taking up a great part of the evening, I have managed to add some new features to this site.

I have also received many interesting emails regarding articles recently posted on this site. I will respond to them all; time permitting, I would also like to develop some of the subjects to full articles to share them on these pages.

This weekend's updates include:

• Part 3 of our ongoing series Battle of Britain in the Words of Air Chief Marshal Hugh Dowding. This feature covers Dowding's discussion of aircraft and tactics on both sides of the conflict. There will be two more parts to this series.
  
  
• A new pair of images in the Historic Photographs section. Painting D-Day stripes is a must-have reference to modellers, especially the high-resolution copy. There is also another photo of Canadian Seafires Mk. XV with that striking metal-and-red spinners.
  

Lastly, an appeal to everyone for a little help with aircraft identification on the previously posted post-war photo of No. 414 Squadron RCAF Spitfire FR Mk. XIVe over Germany (shown below). According to the research made by the owner of the photograph, the depicted aircraft should be RM927. However, recent comment added to this post by a reader suggests something different. Please let me know if you have any additional information that could help us resolve this ambiguity. Thank you.
