The review of recent press and blogs brought the following articles:
Call for forgotten women Spitfire pilots to be honoured [ic Wales] The veteran women of the ATA may not have taken part in the Battle of Britain, but they certainly deserve recognition. The survivors of a group of women who flew Spitfires (why only Spitfires? - my note) in non-combat roles during the Second World War are expected to be honoured with a special badge.
Bid to demolish and rebuild museum [Daily Echo] Another piece of aviation heritage may yield room to a housing project. Southapmton's Solent Sky Museum could be knocked down and rebuilt as part of an apartment complex in a bid to secure its future.
