These images of a cast-aluminium desktop model of a Spitfire have been sen by J P Corbin with the following request for information:

"I have this 3-piece casting of a Spitfire. My Grandfather was given the piece when production first started at Castle Bromwich Aircraft Factory. That is all the info I have at this time. I was wondering if anyone could help with more information, anything really, about the casting. Or perhaps there is anyone who knew people who worked there.

I'm trying to get as much info as possible to pass the family history to my kids.
