Another oil-on-canvas painting by Troy White. This one shows a formation of Australian Spitfires Mk. VIII of No. 457 "Grey Nurse" Squadron RAAF on a sortie over a tropical island in the Morotai area in mid-1945. Leading the formation is W/Cdr Bobby Gibbes. The original painting is 36"x 48", but it has also been issued as limited edition print. Both are available from artist's website.
