Another official photo taken in the Autumn of 1938 at about the same time as
this one. It shows a flight of Spitfires from No. 19 Squadron in Duxford. At the time this photo was taken, these six aircraft still represented almost the entire Spitfire strength in the RAF. Aircraft closest to the camera are are K9794 and K9797. All aircraft are still driven by two-blade wooden propellers. [Crown Copyright]
