An anonymous Seafire (either Mk. II or Mk. III) overshoots the runway on HMS Ravager. The date or the circumstances of of the photo could not be established. It is known, however, that Seafires were not associated with HMS Ravager before 1944. In that year Ravager was employed as a Deck Landing Training carrier, operating off the Scottish coast, so it is possible that the photo shows a training mishap.
