Photographed in their element are Spitfires Mk. Vc trop of  the 1st Fighter Wing RAAF, photographed from a Beaufort bomber on a mission during 1943 when the wing was engaged in the defence of Darwin. Unfortunately, no detailed information could be found about the location of this photo or the depicted aircraft. Perhaps someone could help?
